To maintain high web performance, the detection engine uses **debounced input scanning** (500ms). This prevents continuous scanning on every keystroke, ensuring minimal disruption to your typing experience. If it seems excessively slow, check for conflicting extensions.

After defining a Custom Data Pattern in your dashboard, you need to ensure the extension has synced the new data. Try refreshing the webpage or restarting your browser to force the extension to fetch the latest patterns.

PasteProof is a Manifest V3 compliant extension and is currently optimized for Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers. Support for other browsers (like Firefox) may follow.
